Education: Lee University: Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education

Amanda works as one of the fourth grade teachers. She has also coached the NCS girls volleyball team. Before coming to NCS, Amanda spent two years teaching in Ghana, Africa.  She taught Class 6 English, which was a class of 55-100 boys aged 11-22.  While Amanda was there, she started a library for the school with donations of about 2,500 books from people back home in the U.S.

Amanda and her husband Sam have one son, Silas. She enjoys horseback riding, traveling and playing with her son. Amanda and Marin Jacoby will lead the first NCS alumni mission trip this summer to Maine.
